CASE: The Center for Academic Success and Enrichment (CASE) is the peer to peer component of the law school's Academic Success Program. CASE mentors are available to provide one-to-one assistance to students.
To make an appointment with a CASE Mentor, send an e-mail to lawcase@unlv.edu.
Skills Workshops: Additionally, the Academic Success Program routinely offers skills workshops to all interested students, detailing essential law school skills such as note-taking, briefing cases, outlining and exam-taking techniques. Workshops on handling stress and managing time effectively are also offered. All students are encouraged to attend. For a list of upcoming workshops, click here.
One-on-One Assistance: Individualized academic counseling is also available for those students seeking personalized assistance in any subject area. Assistance is also available for alums preparing for the bar examination. Individual meetings allow students to identify their academic strengths and weakness, as well as their learning styles.
