Information for Prospective Students
The mission of the Career Development Office is to educate, prepare and assist our students and alumni as they pursue their career goals. We offer the following programs and services:
Personalized Career Counseling: Includes resume and cover letter review and individual counseling to develop strategies for identifying opportunities and developing job search tools and techniques.
Workshops, Seminars, and Outreach: Addresses such topics as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, substantive areas of law, and job search techniques. Click here to learn more.
Career Resource Center: Offers a Career Resource Library with numerous books, handouts, directories, articles, and other publications pertaining to all aspects of career development.
Online Job Board: Contains all job opportunities posted at the Law School.
Fall and Spring Interview Programs: Employers interview Boyd students during both the fall and spring semesters. The Fall Interview Program runs from the day after Labor Day through October. Employers may interview second-year full-time and third-year part-time students for summer positions and third-year full-time and fourth-year part-time students for post-graduation jobs. The Spring Interview Program, which includes all students, begins in early February. Employers may contact the Career Development Office at (702) 895-2440 for additional details or to sign up for Boyd's Interview Programs.
