Native American Law Students Association (NALSA)

MISSION STATEMENT:
The purpose of the William S. Boyd School of Law Native American Law Students Association shall be to: articulate and promote the professional needs and goals of Native American law students and their allies in Native American law; foster and encourage professional competence among Native American attorneys and all attorneys in the field; instill in every attorney and law student a greater awareness and commitment to the needs of the Native American community; encourage and prepare Native American law students and their allies to pursue careers in the judiciary; encourage and prepare Native American secondary and collegiate students for higher legal education; influence the legal community to bring about meaningful change to meet the needs of the Native American community as a whole; and do all things necessary and appropriate to accomplish these purposes.
