Jeanne Price

Prior to joining the Boyd School of Law in 2008, Professor Price was the associate director for patron services, research and instruction at the Tarlton Law Library at the University of Texas School of Law. From 2001 to 2008, she was also a lecturer at the University of Texas Law School and, from 2006 to 2008, an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas graduate School of Information. A member of the Texas Bar, Professor Price practiced corporate and securities law in Houston and overseas for nearly ten years. Her research interests focus on law-related taxonomies, cross-language information retrieval, and expert systems in legal information retrieval.
