Lori D. Johnson
Professor Johnson earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in English Literature and American Studies from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as a Senior Editor of the Journal of International Law & Business.
Prior to joining the faculty at the Boyd School of Law, Professor Johnson practiced at the Las Vegas office of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P., and the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn, LLP, specializing in the areas of real estate, commercial finance and financial litigation. Professor Johnson teaches Lawyering Process, Transactional Drafting, and Professional Responsibility. Her scholarship is focused on the intersection of rhetoric and transactional drafting, and transactional drafting style.
