Terry Jean Seligmann is the Arlin M. Adams Professor of Legal Writing and Director of the Legal Writing Program at the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University. She is a nationally known teacher of legal research and writing. Before becoming a member of Drexel's inaugural faculty, Professor Seligmann directed the Legal Writing and Research program at the University of Arkansas School of Law. She previously taught at Suffolk University Law School. Professor Seligmann was elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Legal Writing Directors and has played a leadership role in organizing conferences and roundtables to advance legal research and writing programs. She is a former president of the Legal Writing Institute. Professor Seligmann also writes about and teaches special education law. She practiced civil litigation in the public and private sectors for more than 15 years, including five years as an Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts.
Professor Seligmann is teaching Lawyering Process II in Spring 2013.
