Upcoming Events

The Boyd School of Law has hosted a number of speakers and events related to intellectual property law, including a seminar sponsored in collaboration with IGT on the commercialization of IP; the School has also hosted the annual Nevada Bar IP Law Section IP Law Conference. The Boyd faculty regularly invites guest speakers to present on a variety of issues and developments in patent, copyright, and trademark law; recent guest speakers have included Laura Bielinski (’07, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck), Seaton Curran (’08, Howard & Howard), Professor Annette Kur (Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition), Robert C. Ryan (Holland & Hart), and Allen West (Lewis Roca Rothgerber).
