From Dean Dan
Boyd has an alumni base that is tight-knit, dedicated and accomplished. I have enjoyed meeting our alums throughout Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, and Fallon and also in San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City. This year we have two exciting new initiatives. First, we are holding our first ever all-alumni weekend, complete with a golf tournament, pancake bash, and dinner. At the dinner, we are honored to welcome Senator Richard Bryan for remarks, and we will hear from your classmates and faculty as well. It should be a great night, and I hope all alumni can make it. Please RSVP online at law.unlv.edu/registration-AlumniWeekend2014.
Second, we are launching an alumni directory. To keep our alumni connected to the school and to each other, the Boyd School of Law has partnered with Publishing Concepts (PCI) to launch a project to update contact information and to create an online and hard copy alumni directory searchable by name, class year, geographical location, and area(s) of practice. Starting soon, you will receive e-mails, postcards, and phone calls from PCI requesting that you update your contact information. Please respond! Once PCI has collected the information, they will compile the data and create our first-ever, comprehensive Boyd School of Law Alumni Directory. We are excited about this endeavor to keep Boyd alumni better connected. Please participate. Our goal is 100 percent participation.
