Clinic Students, Fellows and Alums Organize Women in the Law Panel

Wednesday, April 4, 2018

We are very proud to note that UNLV Immigration Clinic students, fellows and alums played a prominent role in the Women in Law panel today, which was hosted by UNLV Law's own La Voz and the Las Vegas Latino Bar Association. Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto spoke on the panel, which Bernstein Fellow Laura Barrera moderated.

The president of La Voz, Briana Martinez, is a current student attorney in the Immigration Clinic, and Marisa Rodriguez, the president-elect of the LBA, is a clinic alumna. There were, in fact, so many clinic alums involved in the event that we will not try to list them all here.

We just want to brag that there were a lot.
