The Pre-Law Summer Camp will be designed to spark curiosity about the legal world and help students imagine themselves in future careers. Its purpose is to introduce students to how laws work, why they matter, and how people use them to solve problems in their communities. Students will build skills in speaking, writing, teamwork, and problem-solving through fun activities like case studies, debates, and hands-on projects.

The Indian Nations Gaming & Governance (INGG) Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the National Tribal Judicial Center at the National Judicial College have joined forces to expand training and professional development opportunities for tribal judges across Indian Country. This year’s National Tribal Judicial Academy is designed to prepare tribal citizens — including those without formal legal training — to serve effectively on the bench.
Join us for this dynamic and interactive mediation training taught by expert Patrick Chapin, Esq. This 40-hour training fulfills the requirements of most court-sponsored mediation programs. Participants will be trained in conflict theory, negotiation methods, and mediation process, techniques, and ethics.
