Overview
This two-hour CLE/community education program will cover the basic income tax issues that immigrant workers and their families face as they prepare and file their annual federal income tax returns. Topics will include requirements to file an income tax return for authorized and unauthorized workers, considerations for amending tax returns, tax return filing status, personal and dependency exemption deductions, the child tax credit, and the earned income tax credit.
