As the gaming industry in Nevada continues to evolve, it is incumbent upon the Gaming Control Board to adapt to the changing structure and economy of the industry in furtherance of the public policy set forth by the Nevada Legislature. This installment of the speaker series will focus on the level of regulatory oversight needed as the gaming industry sees greater investment from non-traditional investors, while also experiencing greater involvement and influence from shareholders, directors, and executives of publicly traded corporations in the gaming companies’ operations and affairs.
