UNLV and the William S. Boyd School of Law Health Law program present Dr. William M. Sage, lecturing on "Fracking Health Care: How to Safely De-Medicalize America and Recover Trapped Value for Its People."
Health care policymakers have long pursued reforms that will promote access and quality while reducing costs. Yet, the United States continues to lag behind many countries that deliver high quality care to more of their citizens and at much lower cost. Professor Sage is a leading expert on how health care reform can improve access and quality while limiting the costs of care.
William M. Sage is the James R. Dougherty Chair for Faculty Excellence at the University of Texas School of Law as well as a professor in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at Dell Medical School.
