Focusing on implicit bias and its impact on choice, Part 1 of this four-part Judgment & Decision-Making mini-series begins with a tour of the cognitive processes behind choice. It also introduces us to the brain as a decision-making vehicle. Through lecture and interactive learning, we’ll develop an understanding of how implicit attitudes and stress affect how that vehicle operates.
The session provides tools and ideas for managing the impact of stress and implicit attitudes on the decision-making process.
