Description

On March 27th, Congress passed and the President signed into law the ‘‘CARES Act,’’ emergency legislation intended to meet urgent public health and economic needs in the face of the coronavirus crisis. The CARES Act includes several relief provisions that apply to some, but not all, federal student loan borrowers. Join NCLC student loan experts as they walk through the various provisions of the CARES Act and Department of Education policies, describe what the policies will mean for borrowers, hear the experiences of fellow advocates, and take your questions.
