Crislove Igeleke

Bio:
Crislove A. Igeleke serves as a Deputy City Attorney for the Las Vegas City Attorney’s Office, where she focuses on Transactional Law, Economic and Urban Development, Cannabis Law, Special Improvement Districts, and Legislation. Her responsibilities include drafting ordinances and handling general contracts for the City. Additionally, she leads the office’s Pro Bono, Externship, and New Attorney Programs, and is a founding member of the office's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Unity Committee, which fosters a "Culture of Belonging."
 
Before joining the City, Crislove gained experience in business and nonprofit formation, general liability defense, board development, and intellectual property law. She has also taught legal education workshops to business owners through the U.S. Small Business Administration. Her previous professional experience includes working for Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Capitol Hill and teaching within the Clark County School District.
 
Crislove earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from Lincoln University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later received her Juris Doctorate from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was honored with Highest Pro Bono Honors. She has been recognized in "Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch" and received the Nevada Legal Services Pro Bono Champion of Justice Attorney of the Year award.
 
In her personal time, Crislove enjoys volunteering, mentoring, and serving on various community boards and commissions. She also loves spending time with her family and traveling.
