Bio:
Professor Shoben earned her A.B. from Barnard College and her J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Law Journal and graduated Order of Coif. Professor Shoben was the Edward W. Cleary Professor of Law at the University of Illinois where she was the recipient of the Campus Award for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Teaching. She has authored books in the areas of remedies, employment, employment discrimination, and human resources, as well as published numerous articles. Professor Shoben teaches Torts, Employment Law, Judicial Remedies and American Legal Education.
