Professor Price earned her B.A. at Yale and her J.D. at the University of Texas; she joined the Boyd School of Law in 2008.  She is the Louis Wiener, Jr. Law Library Professor of Law and serves as Director of the Wiener-Rogers Law Library.  Professor Price served more than two years as Boyd’s Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.  

Professor Price teaches courses on research and writing in business contexts (specifically in relation to corporate, securities, and tax law) and her research interests focus on the use of language in law.   Together with Professors Berger and Pollman, Professor Price is a co-author of Examples and Explanations: Legal Research (Wolters Kluwer 2017).  

Before coming to UNLV, Professor Price was at the University of Texas School of Law.  A member of the Texas bar, Professor Price practiced corporate and securities law in Houston and Qatar for nearly ten years.
