Lena Rieke
Lena Rieke is a Research Librarian and Assistant Professor at the Wiener-Rogers Law Library at the William S. Boyd School of Law. In addition to providing reference and research support to the many members of the law library’s diverse patron base, Lena teaches doctrinal courses and upper-level legal writing courses at the law school. She also presents subject-specific legal research seminars.
Previously, Lena was a Reference Librarian and Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School. During her time at Columbia, she taught introductory legal research classes as part of the first-year curriculum for both J.D. and LL.M. students. She also worked closely with a number of Columbia’s full-time faculty to support their research, scholarship, and teaching. Prior to joining Columbia, Lena was a Research Librarian and Assistant Professor and the inaugural Law Library Fellow at the William S. Boyd School of Law.
Lena's research interests include current issues in corporate governance and tax. She received her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law and her M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington.
