Professor Leslie Griffin has recently co-authored two amicus briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court. She is Amicus Advocacy Director of CHILD USA, and has joined its Director, Professor Marci Hamilton, in advocating for children's rights in courts throughout the country. Children's rights include their health! In December, she will attend a conference planning a new book, the Feminist Judgments Health Law Rewritten Volume. She will be rewriting the opinion, Means v. United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, a case that wrongly decided a pregnant woman mistreated by her hospital and doctors had no tort claim.
