Boyd Students Take First Place at National Finals

The Boyd School of Law is happy to announce that second-year students Lisa McClane and Jay Odum won first place in the National Finals of the ABA Client Counseling Competition held Saturday, March 12, 2005 in California. Lisa and Jay will represent the United States in the international ABA Client Counseling Competition to be held later this year in Hawaii. They also will be featured in a videotape of the competition sold by the ABA to law schools seeking to teach their students effective interviewing, planning, and relationship-building techniques. The law school is very proud of Lisa and Jay and appreciative of the many faculty members, students, and alumni who helped them gear up for this competition.
