Client Counseling Competition Regional results

We are proud to announce that Boyd students Elizabeth Naccarato and Jenny Routheaux took first place while Paula Gregory and John Courtney captured third place in this year's regional Client Counseling Competition sponsored by the ABA. Congratulations to their coaches, Professors Jean Sternlight and Rebecca Scharf for a wonderful job preparing our four competitors for the contest. And special thanks to Professors Steve Johnson and Keith Rowley for giving up sleeping in on a Saturday morning of a three day weekend to act as judges. This competition ran fantastically well, all due to the work of SOA members Kate Smith and Sara Mulroy. This marks the third year in a row that a Boyd team has captured first place. To have two teams in the top three is just icing on the cake. We are incredibly proud of you all. Elizabeth and Jenny will go to the national competition on March 16 and 17, to be held at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law.
