Nones '08 Joins Watson Rounds as Litigator

Intending to focus primarily on insurance defense and commercial litigation, Rafael Nones ‘08 has joined the Las Vegas office of the Watson Rounds law firm.

His previous experience includes clerking at a Las Vegas civil litigation and personal injury firm, at the Clark County Public Defender’s office, and service as a consultant to the Las Vegas Federal Public Defender’s Office.

After earning a bachelors and masters in accounting at the University of Florida, Nones worked as a senior financial analyst for one of the world’s top cruise lines.

“We are extremely happy to have Rafael on board. His financial background adds an important element to our insurance defense and litigation department and will be a wonderful addition to the Las Vegas office,” said founding partner and head of the Insurance Defense department, Kelly Watson.

Watson Rounds has 17 full-time employees at offices in Reno, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.
