Individualized Assistance

The Academic Success Program assists students in removing barriers to academic success.  This includes reviewing past exams, giving sample exams or hypotheticals, evaluating study habits, and assisting with time and stress management issues. 
If you are interested in individualized assistance, you may make an appointment with Professor Chelsea Baldwin, ASP Director, Sydney Lisy, Assistant Director or with a CASE Mentor.  To make an appointment with Professor Baldwin or Sydney, please email Kelly Boan at or call 702-895-0490.  
CASE Mentors meet with students on a drop-in basis so no appointment is needed.  However, please be aware that during certain times of the semester (midterms, when LP briefs are due, finals, etc.) CASE's schedule may be busier than normal.  To contact CASE, e-mail, call (702) 895-2876, or drop by BSL 313A.

CASE Resource Center

Available for all students, the CASE Resource Center has study supplements, sample examinations, and materials on study skills, learning theories, and learning styles.  Located in the library lobby in Room 313A, the resource room is the meeting area for CASE mentors.


** The ASP is in process of updating the TWEN page. ** The Academic Success Program maintains a TWEN page with a bank of practice exam questions, CASE skills workshops Powerpoints, recommended readings, and more.  (TWEN is an acronym for "The West Education Network."  Once you've registered at, click on the "TWEN" tab, search for "Academic Success Program/CASE" and follow instructions.) 

Bar Examination Preparation

The Academic Success Program provides a series of pre-bar exam lectures to assist in preparing to take the bar, as well as opportunities for thoughtful feedback and individualized assistance in bar preparation through the bar prep period. Click here for the Early Bar Prep schedule.
