Licensure Exam and State of Nevada Licensure Requirements Disclosure
After successfully completing the Juris Doctor program, students become eligible to take the bar exam, which graduates must take and pass to become a licensed attorney. Graduates must apply for licensure and pass the bar exam in each state where they want to practice law.
The Law School strongly encourages all prospective and current students to fully explore the licensure requirements in each state where they wish to practice in the future. For more details regarding state licensure, visit the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) at http://www.ncbex.org/publications/bar-admissions-guide/. The NCBE provides students and current licensees with contact information for the respective bar examiners and licensing boards for all U.S. states and U.S. territories, as well as useful tools to determine state by state licensing requirements.
