The Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution

The Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution brings lecturers to the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV who address conflicts arising out of regional, national, and international concerns, and involving both the public and private sectors. These talks have included issues such as mass atrocity and traditional dispute resolution in Rwanda and Uganda, Iran-U.S. relations, international criminal courts, and prospects for peace in the Middle East.
The Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic

The Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic offers students integrated academic and practice-based educational experiences to teach them to be reflective practitioners and multi-disciplinary professionals, to improve the quality of and access to legal systems, and to provide service to communities in need of legal assistance in Nevada. For example, in the immigration clinic students represent clients in a variety of matters involving immigration and immigrant rights. This clinic also coordinates activities for the Nevada Immigrant Resource Project.
Indira Gandhi National Open University School of Law and the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach
Together with the Indira Gandhi National Open University School of Law and the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach, the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV offers an ABA-approved international and comparative human rights practicum. The practicum is a 12-day winter intersession program in New Delhi, India.
