Our law student competitions range from internal law school tournaments to outside regional and national events. The Saltman Center currently supports competitions in client counseling and negotiations:

Client Counseling

Each year, the law school holds an internal Client Counseling Competition open to all Boyd Law students. The winning team from that competition earns the right to represent Boyd the following year at the ABA-sponsored regional competition and a chance of advancing to the national finals, historically held in Chicago.

Negotiation

Students who have completed at least one experiential negotiation course at Boyd are considered for participation in external negotiation competitions. Each year, Boyd selects at least two students to serve as the law school's Negotiation Team and represent the law school at regional and national competitions.
