Boyd to Host Information Forum for Undocumented and DACA students

On Monday, Dec. 19, Boyd will host a forum on immigration policy aimed at students who are undocumented or who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  The event is co-sponsored by Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (LACSN), the UNLV UndocuNetwork, and La Voz (Hispanic Law Students Association). Panelists will include Prof. Michael Kagan, director of the UNLV Immigration Clinic, UNLV students who have DACA or who are undocumented, and an expert on financial aid. LACSN has organized volunteer lawyers for brief, one-time consultations with individuals who have personal immigration law concerns.
