Garrett Logan

Garrett brings three years of experience in comprehensive financial services to UNLV’s Investor Protection Clinic stemming from his time as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors where he specialized in advising high-net-worth individuals and families to generate customized plans in the areas of investment management and wealth advisory services.  Garrett was part of a team that collaborated with professional athletes and entertainers to help preserve, protect, and grow their wealth.  His experience in comprehensive planning and portfolio management includes a broad knowledge of personal and professional investments, asset protection, and trust services.

Following his time at Wells Fargo Advisors, Garrett worked for casino industry titans Michael Gaughan and Steve Wynn, where he learned the gaming business from the ground up.  During his tenure at both South Point and Wynn Resorts, Garrett worked in nearly every casino position from operations to management.

In the years just prior to law school, Garrett started Archer Hospitality, a company which used data and analytics to monitor guest behavior and measure non-gaming revenue metrics.  Further, Garrett currently sits as COO of AKTIVX SPORTS, a leading fitness company specializing in the sale of innovative athletic performance gear for runners, golfers, and fitness enthusiasts.

Garrett is actively involved in both the greater Las Vegas and Washington DC communities, where he is a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization, and The First Tee Program.

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Garrett attended Bishop Gorman High School and then Georgetown University.  In his free time, Garrett enjoys spending time outdoors in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his fiancé and their two dogs.
