Basics of Representing Children in Abuse and Neglect Cases

Help Children in Foster Care and Get Free CLE

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada needs help from southern Nevada attorneys. There are many Clark County children in desperate need of legal representation and guidance; this is your chance to make a real difference in the life of a child.

 Attorneys who have attended previous training may select an available case from the Pro Bono Project website. Those in need of training (or just wanting a refresher course), are encouraged to attend the Basics of Representing Children in Abuse and Neglect Cases free CLE seminar, on Wednesday, February 25, from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.  

All attendees will receive a comprehensive volunteer manual, free primary malpractice coverage, a Children's Attorneys Project mentor, invitations to complimentary support luncheons and monthly brown-bag seminars, access to an online pleading bank, and many more helpful tools and resources.
