About the CLE and the presenter:
Practicing trial attorneys may face common ethical situations including client testimony, client mental health issues, inadvertent document disclosures, unauthorized practice of law, and the role of Stand by Counsel.   Mr. Pitaro has practiced law in Las Vegas for almost 40 years, having successfully tried every type of case from misdemeanors to capital murder.  He holds a J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law.  Mr. Pitaro has the highest rating in the Martindale Hubbell Lawyer Rating service.  He is currently affiliated with the American College of Trial Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Nevada Society of Italian-American Lawyers, and the Clark County Bar Association.  In addition, he is an adjunct law professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law.
