Supervising Attorney Low Income Taxpayer Clinic,
Washington University School of Law

Many taxpayers cannot afford professional tax advice. Low Income
Taxpayer Clinics (LITCs) represent lower income individuals in disputes
with the IRS, including audits, appeals, collection matters, and federal
tax litigation.  LITCs also help taxpayers respond to IRS notices, correct
account problems, and provide advice about taxpayer rights and
responsibilities. This workshop will address issues of importance to
every tax practitioner. All are invited to attend; registration is not required,
but preference will be provided to those expressing a desire to assist low
income taxpayers in their local community.
