CLE: Strengthening Nonprofit Board Leadership-Legal Fiscal and Governing Best Practices
Those serving as board directors have several legal and ethical obligations. This CLE program will discuss the fiduciary duties of board directors and explain the practical effect of such duties. The discussion will include an exploration of the duties of care and loyalty, how to deal with conflicts of interest, and best practices with respect to financial matters involved with serving on boards of nonprofit organizations.
