Crane Pomerantz
            Mr. Pomerantz has been a federal prosecutor since 2002.  In addition to specializing in health care fraud and complex white collar cases, he currently supervises all white collar cases in the United States Attorney’s Office.  Prior to that, he was in private practice in Washington, D.C. and Boston.  He is a 1995 graduate of Boston University School of Law and a 1992 graduate of the University of Michigan.

Brenda Weksler
            Brenda Weksler was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Brenda  moved with her family to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991. At that time she  started her high school education at Valley High and graduated from  Cimarron-Memorial High in 1994. Upon graduation from high school,   Brenda attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she obtained a  Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a minor in Philosophy. Brenda then attended William S. Boyd School of Law and obtained her Juris
Doctorate in 2002.

            Brenda Weksler has worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Kathy Hardcastle in the Eighth Judicial District Court and for the Office of the Federal Public Defender, where she currently represents  indigent clients charged with federal offenses. As a Federal Public Defender, Brenda has handled a large number of bench trials and jury trials, argued before the Ninth Circuit, lectured on federal criminal law matters across the country, and developed a CLE program for panel attorneys in Las Vegas and Reno.

Tierra Jones
            Tierra D. Jones grew up in Hawthorne, Nevada and attended Mineral County High School.  Upon graduation from high school, Tierra attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, and minored in Counseling and Educational Psychology.  Tierra then attended the William S. Boyd School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2006. 

            Tierra Jones has worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Stewart L. Bell in the Eighth Judicial District Court, the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Las Vegas, the Office of the Clark County Public Defender, and the Nye County District Attorney’s Office.  She is currently a Deputy District Attorney for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.  As an attorney in the office, Tierra represents the State of Nevada in all criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanor traffic citations to high-level felonies.  While practicing as an attorney, Tierra has handled a large number of cases, mentored new lawyers, taken 20 cases to jury trial, and argued before the Nevada Supreme Court.
