Virtual hearings have become the norm in most courts—and according to many judges in and out of Nevada—that trend is unlikely to go away after the pandemic. Courts are transitioning online. Legal professionals are increasingly working and meeting virtually. But virtual presenting is a new skill set for most of us.

Boyd Law professor Joe Regalia has been working with judges and advocates around the nation to improve their virtual presentation skills during the pandemic. Professor Regalia has trained lawyers and judges at the Department of Justice, federal courts, and over 100 law firms. He has also conducted a broad survey of judges about the biggest pain points they've faced in transitioning to virtual hearings. In this webinar, Professor Regalia will offer tips and techniques he's gathered from leading judges and advocates.

Professor Regalia will share the key tools you need to thrive when presenting and working virtually: Step-by-step guidance on how to create the most effective virtual presentations, including tips for common tools like PowerPoint. Advanced digital tools that can take your presentations up a notch. And strategies used by the best oral advocates and presenters to capture audiences virtually, whether judges, clients, or others.
