The History, Culture, & People of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe

The Indian Nations Gaming & Governance Program invites you to a webinar to learn about the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, a federally recognized tribe of Southern Paiute Indians in Southern Nevada.

The Las Vegas Indian Colony was established in 1911. Today, the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe is governed by a seven-person tribal council and operates a cannabis dispensary, a minimart, two smoke shops, a health and human services program, the Las Vegas Paiute Police Department, and the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
