Illuminating Public Health Struggles Behind Bars

The editorial board of the Nevada Law Journal is thrilled to invite you to their highly anticipated symposium event, Shadows of Confinement: Illuminating Public Health Struggles Behind Bars, taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the Thomas and Mack Moot Court Room.

This symposium will feature an extraordinary lineup of voices addressing critical public health and justice issues. Highlights include presentations from our accomplished authors, whose work will be published in the third issue of this year’s Volume 25. We are honored to welcome Professor Margo Schlanger of the University of Michigan Law School as our keynote speaker, who is a leading authority on civil rights and detention systems. Additionally, a panel of Nevada-based activists will offer valuable insights into pressing issues impacting our local community.
