William S. Boyd School of Law and Professor Robert Tsai (BU Law) will discuss his new book, Demand the Impossible: One Lawyer's Pursuit of Equal Justice for All, which chronicles attorney Stephen Bright's remarkable career to explore the legal ideas that were central to his relentless pursuit of equal justice in America, particularly for low-income people prosecuted for crimes carrying sentences of death or life in prison.

John Kinsel, Sr., one of the last three living Navajo code talkers, passed away in October at the age of 107. During World War II, hundreds of Navajos were recruited by the U.S. government to serve as Code Talkers. This special group transmitted messages on the Navajo's then-unwritten language. The Code Talkers sent thousands of messages without their code being broken by the Axis powers.

Sometimes called "bingo slots," Class II machines are a mainstay in many tribal casinos. Class II bingo machines and Class III slot machines may look similar to players, but they are very different in terms of game design, game architecture, and applicable law. In this webinar, Russ Witt of Eclipse Gaming Systems will discuss the significance of the regulatory line between Class II and Class III machines, and how Class II machines are designed around the game of bingo to ensure they comply with federal law and regulations.
