Augusta Massey
Augusta Massey is the founder of her own Las Vegas-based law firm, where she focuses on bankruptcy, business litigation, estate planning, and probate. Originally from Nigeria, Massey’s path to the legal profession has been defined by determination, hard work, and a deep commitment to service. After immigrating to the U.S., she earned two engineering degrees while working full time, then pursued her J.D. at the University of Memphis School of Law, where she distinguished herself in mock trial competitions and student leadership. Her early legal career began with a position at the firm she once dreamed of joining, Santoro Driggs (now Holley Driggs), before launching her own successful practice.
Massey is also a prominent leader in Nevada’s legal and civic communities. She has served as president of the Las Vegas National Bar Association and was also on the Nevada Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. A dedicated mentor, she supports numerous pipeline and scholarship initiatives, including an annual scholarship she established in honor of her late father. Her contributions have earned her honors such as the State Bar of Nevada’s "Volunteer of the Year Award" and "Top 40 Under 40" recognition from Vegas Inc. and the National Bar Association. Beyond her legal practice, Massey is an author, educator, and advocate devoted to empowering others through access, mentorship, and meaningful service.
