Caleb L. Green teaches intellectual property law and works with the externship program at the William S. Boyd School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2019. A proud UNLV double alumnus, Professor Green graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in Economics before pursuing law. In May 2025, he delivered the Commencement Address for UNLV’s Class of 2025, reflecting his deep ties to the university and commitment to mentoring future legal professionals.
Professor Green is a Partner at Howard & Howard PLLC in Las Vegas, where his practice focuses on intellectual property strategy, trademark and copyright law, and technology-related legal issues. He regularly advises businesses on protecting and enforcing their IP rights and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
Beyond his practice, Professor Green has made significant contributions to Nevada’s legal community. He worked with elected officials to draft and present Senate Bill 362, aimed at preventing misuse of copyright law by law enforcement to suppress transparency. His leadership and advocacy have earned him recognition as Young Lawyer of the Year by the State Bar of Nevada, Young Lawyer of the Year by the National Bar Association, and the Leadership Recognition Award from the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law.
Professor Green’s professional journey includes serving as President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association, where he championed scholarship programs and legislative initiatives. He is also a frequent speaker and author on IP topics, with publications in ABA Landslide Magazine, The Nevada Independent, and the Nevada Lawyer magazine.
When not practicing law or teaching, Professor Green enjoys attending musicals and symphony concerts at The Smith Center. His long-term goal is to continue shaping the next generation of lawyers through education and mentorship.
