Bio:

Gerald Tan serves as a Supervising Senior Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General's Office.  He works in the Personnel Division where he advises and represents state agencies in all aspects of employment law, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA, as well as litigation in federal, state, and administrative proceedings.  Prior to joining the Nevada Attorney General's Office in 2020, he spent five years in private practice handling a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including quiet title, breach of contract, general liability, and medical malpractice.  He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2010 and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) in 2014. He joined Boyd as an Adjunct Professor in 2024 and teaches Civil Discovery.
