Since 2018, he dedicated his career to the cannabis industry and was named by peer-ranked Chambers USA and Legal 500 as a Leading Lawyer who “knows the industry and players through and through.” Marc led the cannabis practice group at Reed Smith LLP, representing public and private single state and multistate operators; market-leading ancillary businesses; private equity, venture capital, hedge, and credit funds; banks and non-bank lenders; investment banks and other financial services providers; and real estate investment trusts. In addition, Marc spent considerable time advising companies and investors on strategies for doing business in this emerging industry, including institutional investors, multinational alcohol beverage production and distribution companies, SaaS providers, tobacco companies, and insurance companies.
