Bio:

Richard L. Brown was the founding Director of the Wiener-Rogers Law Library from 1998-2002 and a founding senior faculty member from 1998-2008 at the William S. Boyd School of Law. Professor Brown earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Indiana University in 1975, where he served as an associate editor of the Indiana Law Journal, and earned his M.L.L. in 1978 from the University of Washington. He served as the Director of the Law Library and Professor of Law at Arizona State University College of Law for 15 years. While at Arizona State, he oversaw the planning and construction of an architectural award-winning law library. Prior to joining the faculty at Arizona State University, he was assistant law librarian and assistant professor of law at Florida State University College of Law. Professor Brown was a visiting professor at Michigan State University from 2008-09 and Seattle University from 2009-10.
