Robson Hauser
Robson Hauser serves as the Co-Director of Training, Recruiting, and Internships and a Chief Deputy Public Defender at the Clark County Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas. Since joining the office in 2015, he has represented indigent clients through every stage of criminal proceedings, from arraignments to jury trials, completing 16 felony jury trials to date. In 2021, his expertise led to his selection for the specialized Sexual Assault Defense Team.
Beyond his casework, Robson is a leader in legal education and mentorship. He designs and implements comprehensive training programs for new attorneys, provides Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for the office, and manages the internship and externship programs.
Robson’s background is rooted in elite advocacy. A graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, he was a two-time winner of the Jenckes Closing Argument Competition and received the William T. Birmingham Trial Advocacy Award. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he was named an All-American Attorney by the American Mock Trial Association.
Before joining the Public Defender’s Office, Robson served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable U.S. Magistrate Judge George Foley, Jr.. He remains deeply involved in the legal community, serving on the Board of Directors for the American Mock Trial Association and the Nevada High School Mock Trial Board, as well as acting as a presenter and coach for the State Bar of Nevada Trial Academy.
