Course Description
The gaming industry is rapidly evolving, and the intersection of gaming and sports is one of the most recent and exciting areas of growth in the gaming industry. This course provides an overview of the sports betting industry, with a particular focus on the recent expansion of sports betting in the United States, and how it intersects with the broader gaming industry.
This course will explore the historical development of gaming related to sports betting, the evolution of sports-related gaming over the last decade and major legal and regulatory developments and key evolving issues for the industry. The course will also examine the U.S. market, which has quickly become the center of focus for the global sports betting industry, setting new industry standards for operations, technology, products and innovation and the development and growth of the venture capital ecosystem that supports new startups and innovation in sports-related gaming.
This course is designed for U.S. and international business professionals who are interested in learning more about the gaming industry, particularly the intersection of gaming and sports. No prior knowledge of gaming is required.

Quinton Singleton has worked in the gaming industry for the past 15+ years with experience across tribal and commercial land-based and digital/mobile operators and suppliers for sports and race betting, fantasy sports, casino, social, skill, slot and table games.
