Leslie Griffin - Understanding the Brain

Dr. Leslie C. Griffin is UNLV's William S. Boyd Professor of Law. She will spend next year as a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for the Medical Humanities at UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston). The Institute has a long history of "deepen[ing] understanding of, and develop[ing] pedagogical approaches to, topics in the medical humanities," and a special interest in the brain. Dr. Griffin will research and write about expanding patients' rights, especially patients who face brain injury.
