Boyd Community Honored at Champions of Justice Luncheon

Several members of the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law community were honored at the Nevada Legal Services Champions of Justice Luncheon on Nov. 4 at the Bali Hai Golf Club. The annual event recognizes local attorneys and organizations for their pro bono work.

D. Ryan Efros was named Law Student of the Year. Alumnus Rob Telles ’14 was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Alumna Sandy Van ’07 was honored with the Solo Practitioner Award. The Law Firm Award went to Woodrum Law (alumni Adam Woodrum ’06 and Homa Woodrum ’07). The Collaboration Award was given to the Boyd School of Law, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Nevada, and the Clark County Library.

Nevada Legal Services is a non-profit organization providing free legal services to low-income Nevadans. Its Champions of Justice luncheon recognizes those who significantly support the cause of access to justice for all Nevadans.
