Boyd Partners with Local Nonprofit Groups for Second Annual Community Law Day
The intricacies of bankruptcy law, the steps necessary in foreclosure mediation and the family court process are just some of the topics addressed in a series of free legal education classes offered to the community through the UNLV Boyd School of Law.
The UNLV Boyd School of Law, in partnership with Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada Legal Services, has sponsored legal information classes the last 13 years and has helped nearly 40,000 people in the community.
The classes are designed to cover specific areas of law that will help individuals understand court procedures, documentation requirements and changes to laws. Individuals who attend the classes may apply for pro bono assistance.
