Community Service Program Awards Outstanding Students

The fall 2010 Community Service Program participants and supervising attorneys have selected the outstanding students for each of the program placements.

Jared Kennard – Bankruptcy Class
Tina Mims and Palmer Dzurella – Family Law Classes
Linasha Smith – Foreclosure Mediation Class
Ebru Cetin – Paternity/Custody Class
Randolph Westbrook – Small Claims Class
Amber Adams – Kids’ Court School
Marissa Pensabene – Mediation in Nevada Today
Shawn Walkenshaw – Nevada Immigration Resource Project

The Outstanding Students of fall 2010, selected from the above programs, are Ebru Cetin and Shawn Walkenshaw. Shawn and Ebru will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The Outstanding Student of the Year award was presented to Patrick (“Rick”) Benito. He will receive a one-half tuition scholarship. Rick was chosen from the following group of students because of his outstanding commitment to the program and to the program attendees.
