Professor Terrill Pollman Receives Inaugural Legal Writing Award
Terrill Pollman, Ralph Denton Professor of Law and Director of the Lawyering Process Program at the Boyd School of Law, was honored with the inaugural Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Award. The award was presented at the tenth annual Rocky Mountain Regional Legal Writing Conference held on March 20 at the James E. Rogers College of Law.
To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the conference, a group of legal writing professors decided to begin a tradition of presenting an annual award. The award represents contributions beyond measure to the Rocky Mountain Legal Writing community.

"Here in the Rocky Mountain region—where law schools are hundreds, sometimes thousands, of miles apart—we have been blessed with her talent, her support, her good humor, her friendship, and her access to so many legal writing resources. For these reasons, [Professor Pollman] was chosen as the first recipient of this award," said Suzanne Rabe, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Regional Legal Writing Conference.
Pollman received a plaque and her name was engraved on a larger plaque that will carry the names of future recipients of the Rocky Mountain Legal Writing award.
The Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Conference is an annual event coordinated by the legal writing faculty at several law schools in The West.
